EXHIBITION:  Working the Spirit: Rituals of the African Diaspora is an exhibition curated by Dr. Sarah Clunis and presented at Xavier Gallery, Xavier University, New Orleans, LA.  The exhibition opens on November 7th until April 3rd, 2020.

Sokari Ekine's photography holds center stage with eleven exhibits four of which are 58 1/2 x 39 printed on canvas.

Sokari Ekine is a Queer Nigerian British Feminist, diasporic nomad, visual scholar, and activist, writer, educator seeking out new possibilities and ways of being beyond the normative and hegemony of whiteness, heterosexuality and native informers.
